6.2 Supercharged Camshaft Packages

We have created what we believe to be the best camshafts for the Hellcat/Demon/Trackhawk engine. While we do install these camshafts in-house we recognize that their are many enthusiasts who would rather do it themselves. That’s why we have made it easy for you to have the same great product delivered to your door. Each kit the very same parts that we install here at OST Dyno. Titanium retainers are optional and recommended for high RPM (6700+). If your engine has over 25,000 miles we recommend replacing the lifters with a cam swap. Please select the drop-down to add non-MDS lifters to your package.

6.2 Camshaft kits include:
– VVT Camshaft
– Manley Valvesprings
– Manley Shims & locators
– Custom Chromoly pushrods – larger 3/8″ diameter, .080″ wall
– VVT Lock
– High stall torque converter is recommended for track use but NOT included

Each of our camshafts will require custom tuning. Tuning and equipment costs are not included in package pricing. Please call the shop to schedule a tuning session or head to our Products page to purchase an HP Tuners module

These camshafts are designed for 6.2 engines but can be used in all VVT engines. Be sure to check PTV for any non-6.2 engine. VVT engines are 2009-present 5.7, 2011-present 6.4, and all 6.2.

Note for 2018+ engines: There was a valve keeper design change in 2018 that requires a different style of keeper if Ti retainers are ordered. However not all 2018 engines have the new design. If you order Ti retainers and select 2018+ you will receive the valve locks needed for the new design. If you have the old design simply do not use the included locks. The old design is a three ring keeper and the new design is a single ring.

Demon Package Information

This custom ground camshaft matches the exact specifications of the camshaft used in the new Dodge Demon. Intended for Hellcats but great for any VVT blower application, this cam will give your car a little bit of that Demon power. This cam can be used with stock Hellcat valvetrain components. Demon Plus Package Information

It’s finally here: the OST Demon Plus cam package. We have installed and tested this package exactly as you see it in our shop Hellcat and the results are phenomenal. Improving on Chrysler’s already potent setup was difficult as was squeezing more power out of an already radical car.  Based on calculations for DA, 60′ etc. we dropped .10 ET with this cam package. This is expected to drop even more with further testing. We were shooting for a gain across the board with more mid range torque and we nailed it. The largest torque gain is 42ft/lbs at 5000. Even better is it’s still pulling hard out the back!

Note: We highly recommend our tuning with this package. We also recommend checking PTV on your own engine before installation. We have tested this cam on a factory milled head with factory valves and a factory deck 6.2. If you have changed anything on your engine that will affect PTV you must check your clearances.

“We installed the Demon Plus cam in a customer’s Whipple 392.  I realized I never updated you about how it did with a 392 in case you hadn’t done 392 with them. No PTV issues with 392 with MMX drop in pistons and rods and the car made 850 whp at 20* timing and around 0.82 lambda at only 13 psi on a Gen 2 2.9 Whipple.  Dyno reads fairly low and it was 100° out too.  A stock 392 makes around 400 whp on this dyno for comparison.

Will definitely recommend to anyone I come across with a similar setup in the future!  Really woke the car up over the stock  392 cam that just wasn’t happy with the boost.”
