Description
These torque converters are factory cases that are modified and restalled to our specifications by Perfect Converter. They are designed to handle over 1400 crank horsepower and drive like factory even with a high stall. We highly recommend our TCM tuning for A8 transmissions with these converters.
We highly recommend adding the SFI -approved flex plate and ARP flex plate and torque converter bolts. We do not install converters without these upgrades here in the shop. We have seen too many factory flex plates crack under racing conditions. We have also sheared the factory bolts off the flex plates.

If we do not have a restalled converter on the shelf (we try to always have at least one), lead time to restall yours is 2-4 weeks.
This is a custom part that cannot be returned except for manufacturer defects.
Note: There does not seem to be an exact rule for what converter pilot Chrysler used in 2018 and later cars. If you receive a small pilot converter and find that you have a large pilot in the car, you will need to order Mopar part 04736283aa to press into the crankshaft. If you receive a large pilot but find you have a small pilot in the car, you will need to cut the factory installed bushing out of the crank.
